A friend and I stayed here in December 2009. What a gem of a hotel!! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful. And the staff was always cheerful and extremely helpful. Very easy to get anywhere in Florence from this location. I would definitely stay here again. 5-star rating!

We enjoyed very much our stay in your hotel in the wonderful junior suite for a very abordable price. We missed a tea/coffeemachine in the room!

This hotel, housed in a former Medici palace, is a little gem! It is beautifully decorated and the public areas are very comfortable as are the rooms. All the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms spotlessly clean and the bed in my room was very comfortable. Another surprise, was to discover that Internet access was free which made a pleasant change from other hotels, which often charge an excessive fee for this service. At breakfast, there was always a great selection of food, which was fresh and well presented. I will be a regular visitor to Orto De’ Medici and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to others.

Excellent, charming, quiet and well situated hotel, with comfortable rooms and attentive staff. Would recommend it and stay there again if coming back to Florence
