The Orto de Medici was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was luxurious, spacious and the decor superb. The location could not have been better, only a few minutes stroll from the town centre and Ponte Vecchio. The staff and the people of Florence were warm and hospitable and we will certainly be returning. A bonus was the superbly atmospheric restaurant across the street where we dined every evening.

this hotel is in an old, historic and extremely well kept building. our room was huge, we chose one with the view [however it was a good thing that the weather was a bit cold as our window was above the terrace area of the breakfast]. bathroom is small with little water pressure and not extremely hot water but i guess in the summertime no one will notice.fantastic location [center but also really quite].reception staff was mostly nice and helpful.breakfast in a great room/no variety for this kind of hotel i expected a fantastic breakfast.

Excellent séjour! Chambre très confortable, très silencieuse, immense salle de bain, petit déjeûner copieux, personnel aimable & d'excellent conseil. Quel plaisir de revenir à l'hôtel après une journée à découvrir les beautés de Florence! Nous reviendrons certainement.
