This is a gem of a hotel. The location is great and within easy walking distance of everything. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Bathroom is a little small in the classic room, but MUCH better is deluxe :)

Had a wonderful stay for 4 nights.Everyone was very helpful and the location was great. Room could use a little updating with a nicer TV and some lights didn't work but it was very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed a wonderful four nights in a peaceful haven. Well located just outside the tourist hustle & bustle but within easy waking distance of all the main attractions. The enjoyment of being able to look after their guests in such a wonderful historic home, shines through from the moment you arrive until your departure. The bedrooms are very well attended, and the breakfast and other facilities provided are excellant.
The staff are welcoming and friendly and assisted with museum bookings and restaurant advice.
All in all, a wonderful Home/Hotel. The management and staff can be rightly proud of their home and the service provided to their guests. You will not be disappointed.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Hotel Orto De' Medici is perfectly located; very close to the Duomo but without being caught up in the densely touristy hub of overpriced trattorias and purveyors of fake-rolexes/louis vuitton bags. The room was wonderfully presented and the place has real character, evident in the doors, the lounge and the rooms themselves. The reception staff were always helpful and accommodating, even booking a restaurant for us while we were sightseeing, and the free Mimosa on the evening of arrival was a nice touch.
