I stayed here during same week I stayed at Morandi alla Crocetta, and found Orto de Medici to be a much better value (room size, breakfast included in price).

Orto de'Medici is a very agreeable hotel. The hotel staff is attentive and friendly. Friends from the US, Australia and Europe joined me in staying at this hotel. They all were very pleased with the location and accommodations. I was happy that it turned out well for everyone as I chose the hotel from Venere's web site. I will stay here whenever I am in Florence.

The rooms were comfortable and the water for showers was plentiful. each member of the family enjoyed different selections during breakfast. Staff was knowledgeable about directions for places we wanted to see.

Very pleasant staff that were very helpful. On a quiet street that is convenient to the major tourist attractions. Excellent breakfast. We would have like a second chair in the room as there are two of us.

We were so pleased with our stay here that we decided to return to Florence for our last two days in Italy and were disappointed when the hotel was booked and we couldn't return. Everyone was helpful and the room was clean and spacious.
